Originally from Buffalo NY, Jennifer is a graduate of the University at Buffalo with a degree in Communications and a graduate of Erie Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Jennifer worked in the dental field as a dental hygienist for several years before decided to make a career change. Real Estate had always been a passion of hers and she decided to jump in head first. Jennifer received her NC Real Estate Broker’s license in 2007. She joined Park Avenue Properties after calling the firm owner John Bradford, after reading a local newspaper ad seeking new and motivated agents. Jennifer and John met at a small coffee house where they both drank a bottle of water since neither likes coffee. The two often joke about that being the best “non-cup of coffee they ever had.” Jennifer started full time as a Property Manager with Park Avenue in August 2007.After helping the firm grow their property management business, Jennifer was promoted to Sales Manager of the Property Management Division in October of 2008. In 2011, Jennifer was recognized as one of Park Avenue Properties “Top Producers” after helping the business grow by nearly fifty percent from the previous year. Jennifer was promoted to Regional Sales Manager of the Property Management Division in 2011 and will continue her focus on the growth of the Property Management Division within all their expanded markets.
The daily challenges of property management are something Jennifer really enjoys. She is full of energy and enthusiasm. She truly considers the team at Park Avenue Properties to be an extended family and is proud to be a part of it. She is quick to lend a hand or play a practical joke, something she does to firm owner John Bradford quite often. However, her work ethic and dedication to the Park Avenue team and clients are unparalleled.
Jennifer serves in leadership roles for both NARPM (National Association of Residential Property Managers) as Regional Chapter President and the National Association of Realtors Property Management Division (NCAR PMD) on their Board of Governors. She is an RMP (Residential Management Professional) candidate, is a member of the Executive Women of Lake Norman and is also in the current class of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce Leadership.
Jennifer is married to Matthew Stoops and the two relocated to the Lake Norman area in 2006. She is active in her community and is involved with the board of her community Homeowner’s Association. In her spare time Jennifer loves traveling, singing, cooking and outdoor activities.
