Marty entered the real estate business in 1973 as a sales associate for Boulton Realty in upstate New York. He assisted clients with residential listings, sales and as a consultant appraiser with the valuation of real property. In 1978 Marty became Co-owner and Vice President of Boulton and Wells Realty Inc. As Director of Operations he establish the company’s vision and expanded market share. He managed the relocation department and oversaw agent and staff recruitment, training and mentoring.

In 1986, Marty became Owner and President of Boulton and Wells Realty, Inc. responsible for corporate business, marketing and financial administration. He had direct oversight of the appraisal operation while co-managing the brokerage, property management and new construction divisions. He served on various Realtor Board Committees.

Marty and his wife Hilarie moved to the Lake Norman area of North Carolina in 2004. He acquired his NC Real Estate Brokers License in 2007 and brings years of real estate expertise to Park Avenue Properties. Marty enjoys running, the outdoors and Greyhound rescue. His artistic passion is expressed through the creation of stained glass windows and Tiffany style lamps.
