Originally from Asheville, Jan Moore attended NC State and Western Carolina University. After a few great years in Atlanta, Jan moved to Charlotte in 1987. Over the years, Jan enjoyed a diverse career in marketing and advertising (yellow pages, radio and television advertising sales) and then decided to follow her heart and began a career in Real Estate in 1992. She started in Real Estate under the direction of the esteemed Bill Gallagher at the Myers Park branch of Prudential Carolinas Realty…and she has never looked back.

Whether serving as a buyer’s agent or working as a listing agent, Jan enjoys every aspect of Real Estate from start to finish. Looking to diversify her career in the Real Estate industry, Jan joined the property management division at Park Avenue Properties. She looks forward to the daily challenges this aspect of Real Estate offers.

Jan is married to Craig Moore, Retail Sales Manager with Bank of America Home Loans. She has 2 children at home, Anna and Dillon (both 13), and a 22 year old step daughter, Katie, that lives in Charlotte as well. Jan’s family has two rescued Golden Retrievers, Georgia and Chance, that they adore.

In her spare time, Jan loves spending time at the beach and enjoys traveling with her daughter’s competitive dance team, Miller Dance Academy. Her son and husband are avid golfers who once in a while humor her and let her play with them. Last but not least, Jan enjoys reading, boating, gourmet cooking and spending time with great friends and family.
